China To Galway

Andy Irvine is one of, if not the most influential names in Irish music. His interplay with mandolin and Irish Bouzouki has changed the face of Irish music and influenced the way many Irish bands sound today.

Andy has been a core member of bands like Planxty, Patrick Street, Sweeney's men, De Dannan, Mozaik and collaborated with Paul Brady, Dick Gaughan, Davy Spillane and a string of very impressive Solo albums.

This site is dedicated to a trip I took from China to Galway to see Andy play live and to share some of the magic of his live performances with you..........................................ENJOY !!
