Do you have any Andy Irvine video ?

I would very much like to get hold of some andy irvine video. Especially privately recorded material, concerts or workshops. I would love to learn a few of his songs on the bouzouki, and any help would be great.

Video material of Andy is difficult to get hold of, so if you have any old TV appearances, TV concerts, TV interviews, magazine articles, live recordings, etc, let me know. Andy is one of the greatest gifts to Irish music and he has been the best for the past 35 years +, so lets make this a special tribute to a man that has given us all so much. You can add alot to this site by writing to me from your part of the world and tell me of the concert that you attended. What the music means to you, how you first heard his music and maybe even if he inspired you to play music too. The fans can make this site SPECIAL !

Andy Irvine and Paul Brady's album was so popular that the had a six part series in BBC in 1978 Called "The Gig in the Round " I would love to get hold of a copy of it, there must be someone out there that has it on some old tape.

Would be a classic show for sure.

Andy Irvine live in concert on PBS TV USA. I have the audio recording of it but would love to see the video of it. Infact if you know of any other concerts that Andy did on TV, let me know and I will try to track them down too. I am sure there is a few out there. He seems to have been very popular, and still is, in Germany so maybe there is some German TV stuff out there too.
