Electric Bouzouki
This bouzouki was actually custom made by Mark Fitzsimmons. The neck dimensions and the head design were following the Abnet as I wanted to have an electric version.Mark was making these with an interesting logo of a 'Green Man' with was his logo, and it ended up on the horn design.
The flat ebony fretboard on this is a delight to play, and it is just so comfortable to play. I really got into some amazing sounds from this instrument, and with the double humbucker pickup and 3 way switch, the possibilities were endless.
Mark is actually a very good player also, so maybe that helped alot in the refinement of this instrument. There were a few of his electric bouzouki's made, only one in this design but there were a few beautiful instruments made, with some very appealing designs. I am not sure if he ever made the jump to the acoustics but I would be very instrested to try one.
This is just one of those instruments that never gets dusty, it is just so much fun and so comfortable to play..........simply beautiful !
