Here is a wonderful set of photo's from my ol' friend in Germany, Dieter Goll. I don't think I have seen any photos of Andy Irvine with De Dannan, so these are wonderful. Andy is never mentioned in the history of De Dannan, so some reason, but he was a member of the famous band. Have a look at these photos, doesn't it make you wish you were there. Wonderful shot. Looks like Andy is playing his Greek Bouzouki here, he is pictured quite often with it in alot of early photos. I would love to have been here for this gig. Look at all those microphones.

You can just pick out Andy Irvine and what looks like Mick Hanly behind a thousand microphone stands. Andy is playing his ol' Hurdy Gurdy. He used to get a lovely sound out of it, when it wanted to be played. Wonderful.
