Here is a chance to see a few video clips of Andy Irvine and his many bands from TV. I will try to add new and old clips and bits of interest as time goes on. This is a clip sent to me of Planxty playing Smeceno Horo back in 1979. Wonderful performance. This short clip shows Andy on a Greek bouzouki and Donal Lunny on a Blarge. A great clip showing some of that old bouzouki magic. Enjoy. Thanks to Tom for the clip, keep them coming.
He is a rare clip of Andy Irvine and Davy Spillane playing Chetverno Horo, from the East Wind Album. A pre- riverdance and pre- Mozaik performance, although if you look carefully you might spot another face from the Mozaik band ! Andy plays a red bouzouki that was used mainly on the Rude Awakening album. Enjoy the clip!

A couple of clips of Andy's interview on Ireland TV am. Around the time of the Planxty reunion gigs.
The interview was followed by a short performance of Andy singing his new song 'O'Donaghues'. This has been played at the Planxty reunioun gigs as an encore. Thanks Frits.
