Gibson F2 Mandolin.

The Gibson F2 is everything that the F4 is. Yes, it lacks the inlaid flower pot on the head and a white binding strip that runs around the head and back , BUT that is also part of it's charm in my opinion. The tone and playability are really beautiful on these old mandolins.
I got this one from a great guy in America who convinced me that her tone was superb and it truly was. Infact, to be honest this one had alot of play hours when she first arrived, and really made me compare it on a par with the F4. Truly wonderful.
This F2 is from 1918, and I actually replaced the tuners with another set of Gibson 1918 tuners and I think they actually look more fitting to the F2 design.
